Cozy Up

Maybe it's the rose coloured glass
Or maybe it's the time of year
But there's no where in the world I'd rather be than here
Can you believe that the Shack's still standing?
And was available on AirBnB?
It's a Christmas miracle to be here with you three!
So cozy up beside me on that hand-me-down couch
The turkey needs more garlic - Bryan's sortin' that out
Emily's got her ukulele, Josh just cracked a Palm Bay
Cause we're hangin' at the Shack on Christmas Day
Maybe it's the leaking ceiling
Or maybe it's the moldy floor
But there's no where in the world I'd rather vacate more
I can't believe you rented this place
And for nearly a grand a night
The Ghost of Christmas Past - this just ain't right
So cozy up beside me in that secret back room
Bumbo's making his rounds, Austen's singing a tune
There's festive cheer up in the air, we "hip hip hooray!"
Cause we're hangin' at the Shack on Christmas Day
From the moment that I stepped back inside
All of the memories flooded back to my mind (to my mind)
Do you remember that one time?
And that other time?
Yeah, that time!
Time!
Time!
So cozy up beside me here in Joshua's Room
The ceiling might be leaking but Danny's fixing that soon
There's drums and keys and guitars, we could sit and play
Cause we're hangin' at the Shack on Christmas Day
Come on!
Cozy up (cozy up)
Cozy up beside me
Cozy up (cozy up)
Cozy up beside me
Cozy up (cozy up)
Cozy up beside me
Cozy up (cozy up)
Cozy up beside me

Christmas Beer

On Christmas Eve when I've left work
I know just what to do
I'll grab my woman and my dog
To the suburbs, I'll head to
It's family time: Mom, Dad, and kids
Everybody's here
Throw on some sweats and an old t-shirt
And pour a Christmas beer
Out with pumpkin ales
And toss the summer lagers
Give me chocolate cherry stouts
And cranberry orange sours
I'll knock em' back
Each one by one
I'll drink away the hours
Before I know it - Santa's here
Crack a freshie
Christmas Beer
Christmas Beer
And while everyone is smiling cause they're full of Christmas cheer
I'll be warm and glowing thanks to all the Christmas beer
